What are Tahini and Harissa?

Tahini is sesame seed paste. It is the hero ingredient in Hummus; it gives it extra creaminess and that nutty flavor. It’s widely used in the Eastern Mediterranean cooking and in some parts of Northern Africa. I recommend using Organic Tahini. Why? Flavor and consistency.

Harissa hails from North Africa, specifically from Tunisia originally, but recognizable to most of us in the use of Moroccon food: Tangines, couscous or as a spread. This paste is spicy and very smoky and a little goes a long ways.

And we are back to the Golden Tahini Harissa Sauce. To make this beauty, it could not be easier than 1,2 and 3. Simply place all these ingredients in a bowl and use a mini whisk or fork and mix until very well combined. About 1 or so minutes. Next, ENJOY EVERY DROP on your favorite food!
